Changing around the order of the apps menu and screen sensitivy issues

I want to put the music and notifications on the first page of the apps because everytime that I want to scroll to the next page, the home button is right there and I always hit it. How can I move them to the first page? Also, how can I make the screen more sensitive. It is not very easy to use.
