Striiv suddenly not recognising my device


I have had a Touch since Christmas and have had it connected to the Striiv app on a Samsung Note 2 since then and suddenly I keep getting an error message that says its not connected.  I have tried restarting the phone, restarting the Touch, factory reset of the touch, restarting bluetooth, letting the Touch completely run out of battery etc.  I have also noticed that since this started the Touch is responding very slowly.

Had no problems until now.

Anyone have any ideas
